UN R142 published in the EU Official Journal

Recently, the text of the UN Regulation 142 (01 series of amendments) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The Regulation concerns Uniform provisions concerning the approval of motor vehicles with regard to the installation of their tyres.

The official date of entry into force of the 01 series of amendments is the 30 September 2021.

As from 6 July 2022, Contracting Parties of the UNECE World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations applying this Regulation shall not be obliged to accept type approvals issued to the preceding series of amendments to this Regulation.
