Draft Ministerial Regulation on technical regulations in Vietnam

The Vietnamese Ministry of Transport, proposes a new  draft  National  Technical  Regulation in order to specifiy  technical requirements and test methods for rims and wheels of motorcycles and mopeds. 

 This draft national technical regulation applies to companies that manufacture or import wheels or rims for motorcycles and mopeds. Furthermore, it also is applicable to establishments that manufacture or assemble motorcycles and mopeds, as well as organizations and agencies involved in the management, testing, inspection, and certification of the quality of rims or wheels for motorcycles and mopeds. These stantdards also will be including steel and alloy rims.  

Organizations or individuals manufacturing and importing rims are for example, required to provide the inspection body with technical documentation and samples that have been tested in accordance with the requirements of paragraphs 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 of this Regulation.
