CNCA Announcement 44 – impact on automotive
The CCC certification system for automotive products changes again…
On the 17th of October 2019, CNCA published Announcement 44 concerning a modification of the regulations for CCC certification. According to the announcement, some car parts no longer require mandatory CCC certification. These parts, listed in Annex 1 of the announcement, will no longer be accepted for CCC-certification with immediate effect and their existing certificates will be deleted. They can now receive voluntary certification according to CQC or CCAP.
Another group of parts, listed in Annex 2 of the announcement, will be subject to the CCC self-declaration from the 1st of January 2020 (for new certifications). Existing CCC certificates must be converted into CCC self-declarations by the 31st of October 2020.
