Saudi Arabia published for comments three new SASO standards for trucks

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) published for comments three new SASO standards for trucks regarding their protective devices.

The standards are:

SASO/CD 32180 (E) – Motor Vehicles-Front Underrun Protective Devices for Trucks

SASO/CD 32181 (E) – Motor Vehicles-Lateral Underrun Protective Devices for Trucks and Trailers

SASO/CD 32182 (A) – Motor Vhicles-Rear Under Run Protective Devices for Truck and Trailer

The standards are relevant for trucks and trailers having maximum mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes used for the carriage of goods.
